Rural Farmers Was Not Warned about the Covid-19

Day 13 and with the focus on the lockdown and essential workers, one very crucial aspect is rural farming. So what implications does lockdown have on rural farming

Constance Mogale exlplained how crucial the impact on rural farming is in South Africa.

The infrastructure is very limited with no water making it harder for rural farmers as there was no proper planning in place for an epidemic.

Some Rural farmers were not warned of the Lockdown as there is no radio or cellphone coverage where they work and they are far removed from cities.

Constnace Mogale also say that even if they live in rural areas, that it makes them not safer and they should still take precautions actions and be safe to not get infected with the CoVid-19
