RaidenGuest
Hi to all !
My name is Raiden, I have a small family chicken farm with a henhouse of 9 hens and chicks, and 1 rooster. I like taking care of these chickens. But currently, my little community of chickens is experiencing some major problems, because our henhouse is being attacked by rats. Rats which prove to be a little too harmful causing significant damage (chicks which are devoured and injured…), and I am afraid that they will manage to decimate all my chicks. It was believed that dirt and disorder attracted them. And so we took steps to ensure that we maintained a high level of cleanliness, but unfortunately it wasn’t enough to stop them from proliferating. We tried using rat traps around the chicken coop, but the results were disappointing, with no rats trapped and the bait mysteriously disappearing.
I always try to apply solutions that are least harmful to the environment. And a friend advised me to use this product as rat bait https://www.stoprodent.com/products/anti-rodent. I would like to gather the experience of people who have encountered a similar problem, especially regarding the use of these particular baits. I wonder about their effectiveness and would like to know if they pose a risk to other animals in the area and to the environment. -
