    1. If you are growing your chickens longer than 6 weeks it means that they are big and eating away your profits away. Try selling to townships. A big chicken at around 2.6kg will easily sell for R80. But be assure, the next time you sell chickens and they are smaller your customers will complain. If you do not have a lot of chickens you can consider to slaughter them, freeze them and sell them out of hand to reassure your investment. Get a standard size chicken for the township market and determine your price on that. You will easily build up a client base and start a WhatsApp group to add people that buy your stock.
